Bodrum hosts giant dance festival in April
Some 700 dancers from 10 countries will participate in the International Bodrum Dance Festival at southwestern province of Muğla’s popular Bodrum resort. The festival, organized for the 12th year, will be held between April 29 and May 1. Contestants will dance on the streets of Bodrum for three days, creating a carnival atmosphere. Some 60 shows will be performed at Bodrum’s 3,000-year-old antique theater. One of the organizers, a member of the Bodrum Dance Club, Fatih Özvezneci, said the Bodrum Festival was one of the major dance festivals of the year in Europe.
