Bodrum Yacht Festival is starting.

International “Bodrum Cup”, a yacht regatta organized by Era Bodrum Sailing Club for 22 years as a means to promote yachting sector based on traditional production and to increase the sea tourism potential will take place during October and this year the “Bodrum Yacht Festival” will also be held during October 15-18, 2011.

This year the Festival will be organized in two parts: “Activities on Land/at Harbor” and the “”Bodrum Cup – 22nd INTERNATIONAL WOODEN YACHT REGATTA”.

During October, 15-18

A wide variety of events such as Wooden Yachts at Sea and Charter Yacht Expo at the Bodrum Harbor, Yacht and Marine Supplies Expo, (Bodrum Harbor), tents of companies that manufacture Yachts on land, organize Charter Tourism events and those related with maritime activities, Yacht Cuisine Education and Contest, Concerts, Various Festival Activities, Sea Museum Opening, Bayk- Allianz Duo Trophy Races will be organized…

The ACIBADEM STAGE  (BODRUM – GÖKOVA  21 Sea Miles)  will start at the Oraklar Island at 10 am on the 19th of October after the opening festivities for the 23rd Bodrum Wooden Yacht Regatta that takes place on the 18th of October.

Night stay at the Okluk Cove-English harbor. 

2nd day will cover CLAUDIO CAMPIONE GÖKOVA-ÇÖKERTME. Following the Breathing Technique Practice organized by the Yoga Academy at 8 in the morning, start will be given at 11. There will be a Costume Contest at 9 pm at night.

The DENİZBANK STAGE  (between ÇÖKERTME-KİSEBÜKÜ covering 15 Sea Miles)  on the 21st of October will start once again with the Breathing Technique Practice organized by the Yoga Academy at 8 am.

The 4th and last day will cover VODAFONE KİSEBÜKÜ – BODRUM stage for 12 Sea Miles. Regatta Award Ceremony will take place following the cocktail at 8.

On the 23rd of October: BODRUM CHALLENGE TROPHY (DUEL OF THE GULETS / Duel Race) will take place at 11:00

All activities will end with a Plaque Ceremony for those who Served Turkish Seafaring and with the Trophy Award Ceremony at the Harbor Square at 5 pm…
